‘an archive is a space for gathering’ will span the course of four days in the heart of Little Havana at the Miami-based artist-led initiative Tunnel Projects, a space dedicated to creating exhibition opportunities and affordable studio spaces. Each evening will feature events for the local community and during the day the gallery will host Miami-based coffee concept pop-up, Lazy Brew. Lazy Brew breaks traditional boundaries by elevating the complexities of coffee with innovative elements to provide an enticing and inclusive experience for all. Miami Art Week tends to be a week that does not involve the local community and '‘an archive is a space for gathering’ is an attempt to change that narrative by focusing on catering to the needs of the community with bilingual programming, immigrant stories and creating a space of belonging.
